6-1 The power play is 3 for 3, and Zumwinkle has a hat trick.

2 for 3. One of Zumwinkle's goals came a second after the end of the pp according to Dan H.

7-1 is the final. For the most part, Minnesota looked good, though there were a few lapses, including the shortie allowed.

After her best couple weeks of the season, I thought our captain was back to trying to do too much, while not moving her feet. I definitely would have liked to see more effort on the shorthanded goal (don't skate behind your net while the puck is out front.) The PP pass to Zumwinkle was working tonight, even if D2D thinks they go to that well too often.

I agree MN looks disorganized and I don't see what Yale is doing different from yesterday. Still, they deserve a lot of credit for keeping it close. I would love to have seen the Clarkson game. How did yale walk away a 5-1 winner?

The Gophers stepped it up over the last ten minutes of the game, and hold on for a 3-1 win, with Zumwinkle picking up a nifty empty net goal in the last minute.
