I don't feel like travelling to PSU. It's kinda expensive, and I would need to take days off to do so. Try again, son.

Hold on, you don't even have cable in the first place? So what is this principled stand you are taking? You don't pay to go to the games, you don't pay for cable to watch the games on TV, how do you consume these games normally?

"BTN Plus programming includes non-televised games and events available on BTN2Go with a purchase of a BTN Plus subscription. BTN Plus content features live games produced by students at Big Ten universities." From this description, it seems that the PSU games are not BTN content and that the BTN is paying the university for the rights to stream it on BTN Plus.

Either way, I don't think the message that the powers-that-be at the Big Ten will receive is that people think it is unfair that they have to pay for these games, I think they will get the message that no one cares about them. And Gopher fans' insistence that they are entitled to any and all Big Ten content because they have cable is absurd. And if they are going to pay to broadcast the PSU/Gophers series, they would also have to pay to broadcast the OSU/MSU and Michigan/Wisconsin series.

I'm backing the play of the people who are not paying the extra. As for games, I usually listen on the radio. I'm looking into the PS Vue packages, deciding on whether or not to pull the trigger. Sports would be the only reason I'd go back to cable.

Time Warner cable here is now Spectrum and I have Big Ten Network as part of my regular cable package which INCLUDES free BTN2GO which has been really nice for the away games as I can stream it on my big screen but the monthly bill for Spectrum is robbery nonetheless.

It definitely was listed as plus earlier today.

Don't quote me, but I *think* it means you don't have to pay MORE for the stream, since you already have the channel on the bonus package.

BTN2Go is the app to watch programming.

BTN TV on BTN2Go means it’s free on BTN2Go with most cable and satellite packages.

These games are on BTN2Go for free if you have BTN on your cable or satellite package.

In other words, Ski-U-Meh?? Well, for starters they certainly know their enemy and it is the playoffs. Different animal. After last weekend's embarrassing debacle, I expect the Gophers to return locked and loaded with a chip on their shoulders ready for revenge and win this series.

The sideshow between Lindgren and Barrett may escalate again, but of course boys will be boys. I fully expect Lindgren to look for some payback and flaten Barrett given the opportunity (legally ;)).

Evan Barratt says it’s universal. Ryan Lindgren says it’s personal. “I don’t like [Barratt]. He doesn’t like me,” Lindgren told Nate Wells of The Athletic last Friday. “We always have some words for one another when we play each other.” Lindgren told Wells there’s been bad blood since last year when Minnesota scrimmaged Barratt and the United States National Team Development Program. Barratt, on the other hand, denies any sort of a personal rift with Lindgren. “It’s just kind of the heat of the game,” Barratt said. “[When there’s] two guys that love to compete, sometimes you get under each other’s skin. That’s just kind of how it goes.” Lindgren has been called a bulldog in the past by Minnesota coach Don Lucia , but was made to look silly last Friday.

Lindgren promised his team will arrive in State College with intensity. “We’ll come in there with an edge to us and show them that last weekend was not Gopher hockey.”

Gophers will need to revive their dismal PP, play shutdown D, SCORE!!, and Robson must be on his game for Penn St's barrage of shots. I've got the Gophers winning in three and probably off to Yost next weekend.

Revive their dismal power play. They've somehow managed to win a bunch of games this year even though it's been one of the worst in the country.
