Nicholson looks very good. She certainly put herself in the right spot for a very nice pass from #12 Lacey Martin. Looks like BU will get a good player, too.

Does Minnetonka have much of a chance against the other "rich kids" tonight? The pbp guy said that they have already lost twice to them this year.

Edina's depth will be a problem for them plus I don't think Minnetonka's goalie will hold up under pressure.

Was impressed with how well Minnetonka passed the puck as a team last night compared to Maple Grove (especially #10) who relied on a lot of solo rushes with the puck.

Yes they did lose twice to them, but their last meeting was a one goal game (5-4). I think they have a decent chance to pull the upset, but the odds are not in their favor. I would expect Edina's depth throughout their lineup to give them the edge.

How was Mound Westonka unbeaten? They are getting destoyed by Breck...5-0 in the first period!

Ahhh. correction 6-0! There is still 6:40 to go in the first period...Shots on goal...19-1.

Really like how Proctor Hermantown is pressuring Warroad so far. Good game as its 0-0 with about 5 minutes left in the first period.

Lucky goal has Warroad up 1-0 after 1 period...

Proctor Hermantown ties it up! 1-1 in the second period.

Proctor Hermantown is really moving there feet and causing a lot of problems for Warroad...

2-1 now at the end of the 2nd period.

Warroad up 3-2! Reviewing the goal. Good goal! We have the sound off (listening to Gopher game), but it looked like the Warroad player was knocked into the goalie by the Hermantown player.

4-2 now. Warroad seems to have awoken.

P/H had a number of great chances earlier but couldn't capitalize. Give Warroad credit for coming back in the 3rd when the game was on the line.

Yes. I thought P/H looked in control in the 2nd period. They were the faster more aggressive team then. Got worn down maybe in the 3rd?

My thought exactly. They didn't have the same jump, and the emotion could only carry them so far.

Earlier I thought Breck looked very good, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they hand Warroad their first loss of the season in the final.

I should not doubt the cardiac kids of Andover. They have tied it up 2-2 with about 6 minutes left in the 3rd.

You can dress up that 2nd Brainerd goal however you want but your goalie has to save that.

This has turned into one heck of a game...Bonus hockey!

Ummm...Not much bonus hockey as Brainerd wins real quick.

Andover committed a lot of defensive zone turnovers, and it finally cost them when their defensemen pushed the puck out to a Brainerd player in the slot eight seconds into OT.

Brainerd played largely mistake free. I was really impressed with the way they kept stepping right into Andover's passing lanes.

Just a great night of high school hockey with the two AA games. Very fun to watch compared to Thursday night.
