Re: Minnesota Girls High School Hockey III

Thursday night Cretin-DH completed the season sweep of Roseville with a 1-0 win at Highland.

Roseville's run of 5 consecutive Suburban East conference titles comes to an end but the surprise is that the new winner is not Stillwater (or Cretin).

All hail the new champions, Mounds View.

Mounds View was a state tournament team last year, so not totally out of left field.
Don't really see anyone knocking them out in their section. A likely return to the Xcel.

Re: Minnesota Girls High School Hockey III

Anyone have any information beyond stats on the following recruit:

F Holly Dietzler (Bloomington Jefferson HS) committed to Lindenwood

Section brackets going up. Blue "B" at far right.

It appears that for the State Tournament they are seeding five teams this year:

http://www.mshsl.org/mshsl/showxmlbrackets.asp?tournid=2685&bracket=6251

whereby the 4th seed will play the 5th seed on opening day. I believe this will be the first time they've ever seeded five teams instead of just four, when they've had the random draw for all of the opening day's games.

Q'final games advertised as available video stream by prep45.com. All I'm getting is "stream not available" upon attempting to view...

There is live audio available. Red Wing up 5-2 over Alex in the 2nd. Audio link:

Sometimes there's a knock on teams outside the TC metro when looking at player stats and team records...due to questions about the competition level within their conference etc. This Red Wing team looks to have a genuinely talented squad that may buck that notion.

Based on what your saying, the Gophers have a committment from Paige Haley, but curiously, Nicole Schammel has committed to Mankato State. Having not seen her play can you or others speak to how good she is as a junior? Would anyone know if the Gophers had interest in her?
