Heck yeah, they look way better. But part of my dislike of UMD, besides the colors, is based on this guy you had play for your team years ago, a decent player, I think Hull was his name. If Hull and Hrkac hadn't terrorized UW in my formative hockey loving days, I'd be a much better person. But, no, I am forced to hate, hate, hate. In fact, I cannot think of a rodent player to hate from that time period.

That is what I thought! And ahh the Hull days...that was the latter part of the old Glory days of UMD. Luckily we've started upon a new golden age starting in 2008...

Jersey snob. Being a jersey snob is fun because we get to look down on others and their craptacular jerseys that they willingly wear out in public as if there is nothing wrong with the abominations.

Like last night where I went to the Wild game I saw a Sioux fan with a custom made black Reebok Parise UND jersey. The problem was that Parise never wore that specific jersey...for shame.

I must admit I have two screen printed jerseys in my collection but they are from the 90s and I'm too cheap to get the real things. :( (Plus I haven't seen the real ones on eBay yet)

They sell those at REA. Absolutely terrible. I want to take custom made/style player jerseys that the player never actually wore, throw them in a pile and burn them. I also want to hit every person who wears a jersey like this in the throat with a claw hammer.

Wisconsin has had some solid throwback jerseys recently. The Hockey City Classic one was the best one on the ice and the road throwback with the "W" is excellent.

That almost certainly is not screen printing. It is probably twill sewn on wool jersey. It is pretty awesome but there are better jerseys.

I love old school jerseys that have crazy designs like that one. Sadly nothing beats this one:

I wish UMD had some crazy designs but we do not. Our jerseys from the 30's are VERY basic and are probably old football jerseys.
