I think I understand your point. You're saying you too wish you had a college baseball team you could root for. Completely get it as we're both more or less in the same boat there!

I've decided the only sensible thing for us both to do is to pick a team who's jerseys we like. For example Carolina's classic look appeals to me from a traditional standpoint. Kinda says old time baseball in the summertime, and no screen printing there!

Oh, and not to get off the subject, but Bucky wins 4-2 tonight.

For a supposedly smartypants Wisconsin fan you sure miss the point a lot on these.

Go Bulldogs! Put Badger fans out of their misery.

What will be the greater number at the Kohl Center? Badger fans? People who want Eaves fired? Badger fans cheering for UMD so they can fire Eaves? UMD fans? Badger Baseball fans?

Now that would be cool! Except for the UMD thing. Luckily they brought their awesome road authentic (which are such a great uniform.

As for the game...Wisconsin outplayed UMD and really took them off their game. Wisconsin showed why they are higher in the standings and played a good game. UMD will have their work cut for them if they want to extend this series more games. My hope of seeing UMD in the Final Five doesn't look too great right now.

But win tonight and things will look better.

So much for the "hot" Bulldogs. The team that showed up this weekend was the 9th place team they've been all year. Poor goaltending, suspect defense and no scoring. Bulldogs have their work cut out before the NCHC fires up.
In the meantime good luck to UW in St Paul.

So long Bulldogs. As I said, you're easily the most tolerable of all the Minnesotan's and we'll miss you. It was fun while it lasted and no doubt we'll meet again.
Bucky has been playing with their backs against the wall for months and they got rewarded for their work this weekend. Just wasn't in the cards for UMD. You guys have a couple of fine young players and I'd expect next year things will look up. Good luck in the NCHC, take all those yokels out west down a notch or two next season!

They fell behind and early. That is the last thing you want to do against Wisconsin who went into a defensive shell and made me fall asleep.
