It's not justification at all. In fact, it makes the hit that much more ridiculous. Just for my own curiosity, and either way I think it would be foolish for any DU player to try to retaliate by physically harming another player.

Everyone is talking about Rau's cheap shot. What about the spearing by Helgeson at the end of the first? Gophers are starting to look like the Sioux.
