I think if you go back and watch a repeat of this game, you'll also see this is a retaliation move by Rau.

When Rau scored his goal, I think he made his little signature move. Then when Zucker scored his, he did the same thing before skating by the MN bench. You will see Zucker say something to someone on the bench, and when it happened I just assumed it was Rau. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was Rau's response.

I haven't seen anything from Rau this year hinting at a play like that. Add to that the other chippy plays so far tonight. Can't help but wonder what's going on.

Wasn't from behind, but it was late and brought his hands up. I'm not arguing the penalty Rau got. But that was not someone trying to break someone's neck.
