This one's going to be a test of which team is more disciplined. You just know the WCHA is going to send a message to both teams about penalties for taking runs.

When the Sioux stay out of the box, they are almost unscoreonable. When they take penalties, they open the door.

Discipline and patience. Keys to winning.

Not really. UMN has actually played well this season against quality teams (UMD, UMich come to mind).
It's the teams that they should beat where they seem to have issues.
I really wouldn't be surprised with a split.

One could only hope... I am just hoping that the goofs show up enough so they are at least some interesting games. Should be a nice little warm up before we have to take on UNO.

I always hate to agree with Dirty, but he's right on this one - I've met the guy and wow. He does build awesome Lego sculptures though.

UND should sweep easily.

Is Benny really going to be on the broadcast? That'll be awesome!:D I suggested it on GPL a while ago, but didn't think they would ever do it since Ben is an agent.

I am expecting a SIOUX SWEEP --- 4-5 to 1 on Friday and a closer 3-2 game sat with Kristo getting 3 goals on the weekend.. anyway GO SIOUX kick some gopher butt and keep the wheels a rolling!!!!

One other thing is Werhs (sp) going to play or will he be afraid of the Frattin express blowing him up again???? just wondering

Not to play excuses here, but Michigan looked awful in the game against the Gophers. I'm sorry but they should have destroyed Michigan they looked that bad. Then again, we're talking about the Gophers... what they "should" do rarely happens. No offense.

The Gophers have good players and some top-end talent, but they just consistently aren't a good team. Yeah, yeah, anything can happen, throw the records out the window... blah, blah, blah... The Sioux should sweep this weekend. I've watched the Gophers at home a few times this year and the Sioux are simply the better team all around. Deeper, more consistant, and after getting up to UND to watch Dell live this past weekend, I think they finally have the goaltending to make a serious run this year. I have more confidence in him to steal a game when the going gets tough than any other goalie the Sioux have had since Goehring.
