You are right this Gopher spirit inititive thing is very sad.

So are they replacing "Pride on Ice" with "We are Performers" and instead of showing highlights of goals and checking we see ice dancing?
No wonder UM athletes leave early.

Are the UM art students knowingly and maliciously trying to destroy Gopher Sports and to make life miserable for the few remaining loyal Gopher fans? Or is "Pride on Ice" really dead and "We are Performers" is more in line with the mission of the UM mens ice hockey team? If that's the case the Gophers should make their cheerleader coach an assistant coach to help the mens ice hockey team meet their new performance goals of having better dance moves.

North Dakota Law

It is illegal to lie down and fall asleep with your shoes on.

It is legal to shoot an Indian on horseback, provided you are in a covered wagon

Beer and pretzels can't be served at the same time in any bar or restaurant.

Fargo

One may be jailed for wearing a hat while dancing, or even for wearing a hat to a function where dancing is taking place.

Not sure why you included Fargo, but for any visitors that may decide to go to East Grand Forks, be prepared to follow these...

Minnesota Law:

All men driving motorcycles must wear shirts.

But don't worry Gopher fans, it is against the law for any woman to laugh at the size of a man's *****. FWIW, Oral Sex is also illegal.

The color blue has been banned since 1913. No one is allowed to wear the color or paint anything that color. Anyone entering the state in a blue car must pay a fee or be sent to prison.

A buddy of mine in GF who is usually a pretty good source said Lucia called after the Ferris State series to see if it was too late to have his boys play in the between-periods scrimmage and get another team to play the Sioux. I guess they might have been able to put it together too, but the Manvel Mighty Mites backed out when Lucia insisted on the no-check rule.

Must be a horrible source given the fact there was no series with Ferris State. They were the second opponent in the Mariucci Classic. :p

This thread was a lot more fun when Gopher fans weren't just punching bags.

Given Kangas isn't going to be playing this weekend, can Patterson glue Brillo Pads to his head so we can pretend he's Kangas when he gets pulled on Friday?
