Minnesota at Denver Feb 10 & 11

Re: Minnesota at Denver Feb 10 & 11

This weekend pits the obvious favorites for Rookie of the Year Denver's Joey LaLeggia on D and Minnesotas's forward Kyle Rau. The game within the game.

LaLeggia 10-19-29
Rau 13-14-27
Kyle Rau > any other freshman except for Rocco "Tebow" :D

Chambers with an update on DU injuries.

http://blogs.denverpost.com/colleges/2012/02/09/du-sophomores-makowski-bennett-still-unavailable-and-wont-play-against-no-1-minnesota/22934/

There is no chance DU sophomore defenseman David Makowski and sophomore wing Beau Bennett will play in this weekend’s two-game series against No. 1 Minnesota at Magness Arena, Pioneers coach George Gwozdecky said.

Also, sophomore Sam Brittain is Friday’s likely starter in goal and he might play both games.

Re: Minnesota at Denver Feb 10 & 11

Hockey's penchant for not telling the nature of an injury is well known. Guess it would be hard to hide Bennett's wrist surgery since he is in a cast. Makowski's injury started out as severe headaches and now is "upper body", just seems a bit silly.

BTW, Leafs vs Flyers--Bozak vs Carle tonight at 7:00 et

Bozie with 2 goals so far, at the end of 2 Leafs trail Flyers 4-3

Sounds like a betting proposition to me. How the hell else would one interpret that? I just want to know how much of your money you want to put on 7 as I will take the under. :p
Fair enough. I used the phrase without thinking about it, then forgot. So I guess all of the money that I will win on the lottery in my lifetime is on 7.

Make up your minds already. Jelly donut, lumberjack or a chickenhawk (upper right)? What's up with the bird (If you were North Dakota, I get it)?

BTW, are the casino's worth a visit? Is it just one casino or multiple? Friday cannot get here soon enough.

Blackhawk a 45 min drive west of Denver has something like 15 casinos and the limit is 100 now. It's worth it if you are into gambiling

I would take US 6 on the weekends due to ski traffic.

There are legal restrictions on what coaches can say about injuries to college athletes. In many cases privacy restrictions prevent them from stating even the obvious.

Sorry if this has been discussed. Are the Gophs on TV tonight or tomorrow night in Mpls?

On gophersports it says FSN. But on my comcast schedule, it says no. And no midnight replay. Tomorrow it has the wild.

Anybody know?
