Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

ESPN-U will have it on a tape delay basis at 9:30pm this evening.
Hardly the same. So did ESPN refuse to sell the live broadcast rights or was there just no one that stepped up for college hockey fans?

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

My has the Bi6 changed the landscape. Most Gopher fans I've seen want UND to win. So much for that rivalry.

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

Anyone know of a link to watch the WI-ND game online, or at least a link to listen to the game. Have to work tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should tell that to the gopher trolls on SS.com... I excited to have the wisco rivalry start back up. Back in the day that was the better rival anyhow.

I forget where I read the article, but apparently part of ESPN's broadcast contract, that was signed this season, included the provision that they were the sole broadcaster of all games, no more regional simulcast for local schools.

shooters have been finding glass a lot in this game

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

A friend at the games texted me a picture of one of the Ice Crew girls wearing skate guards with wheels on them. Said she's all over the arena during intermissions with them! LOL!

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

my guess is reviewing to see if offsides

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

Thanks to the Big Ten channel, I've seen a fair bit of Rumpel this year, and I couldn't help but think he was carrying a nagging injury of some kind. Maybe not Bergeron broken-rib-and-punctured-lung, but he was just fighting it.

And I'm still shocked that this was only the 3rd NCAA matchup ever between the 2 teams.

Re: Mid-West Regional North Dakota/Wisconsin & Ferris State/Colgate

Well Wisconsin now feels what we felt last week to lose a game in the last minutes ending your season. At least Ohio State's loss was understandable playing on fumes with 3 games in 3 days. Does Wisconsin have an excuse?

That does seem amazing, especially given their shared dominance in the early 80s. I can say, though, that I'd rather see the Sioux either win or go down fighting against the Badgers than any other team.

Must spread.

Congrats and good luck.

We have a good team once every four years ((c) sweatpants), so we aren't used to high pressure situations like this?

That's as good as I have. This team came out flat to start almost every weekend, this is disappointing but hardly a surprise.
