You know what this team reminds me of?? They remind me of the commercials for the abused pets with Sarah MacLachlan.

I think Tech was just a little bit better overall tonight. It's hard to tell from just listening, but we were tighter defensively and goaltending was definitely better.
I think it gave the forwards more confidence and they had more opportunities than usual.It was also generally a better defensive game, with the forwards coming back and the 4th line helped out. It was not an up and down game which benefits us.

Sure as hell feels like it, doesn't it?

OK, maybe not. Still, a step in the right direction to get a "Tech win" out of this one, and to see one of our cardboard cutouts rebound from the last few debacles. Now if we can just get our cones and pylons to play better, maybe we can eke out a couple wins in the next two series.

I wish Tech had the money to do something with that eastern wall (and put the pep band somewhere not so ignominious.) Still, it looks a whole heck of a lot better than when I started there.

Good to see they've been working on the Wall of Fame.

Someday they'll do something with the other end, but for now I'd rather they save up and buy a new scoreboard.

One thing that really bugs me is the silver of the suite exterior, it does not blend well at all and looks really weird. I think black would look much better.
