Where did you see Ipper let go? Tech at one point outsourced their training staff. So Ipper and some others were hire by a medical group and offered services to Tech to cover the athletes, and they would also cover high schools etc.

Maybe they want new ideas, someone who is more connected to the latest hockey training research/studies/ideas. I would think if he's been let go, they probably had good reason as Tech doesn't "clean house" typically although I'm hoping this is a start. Their training staff hasn't exactly had the greatest track record as of late; how does a recruiter sell that - "hey come to Tech, not only are we struggling but there's a good change you'll get injured while you're here".

Back from the Joe and a bad Wings game, and I just barely started in on a glass of bourbon, but am I reading this highly unsubstantiated rumor right? :confused:

Why, it's a rumor. not fact.

And since I am getting up on my soapbox, I am sick to death of bloggers doing interviews with recruits. IMHO this crosses the line of having contact, it is not journalism at all, it is recruiting and It makes me puke! I've a mind to write the NCAA and complain. end rant!

Its still legal as far as the NCAA is consern, and there's no reason why MTU's unoffical fan Bloggers can't do the same as long as there's nothing underhanded done like under the table cash payments in envelopes, boose or women.

Well, I'm sure after a winter at Tech, him in a dress and a little makeup, he might look hittable to somebody, provided that they supplied their own boose. ;)

He probably would've if he wasn't hurt; same thing this year. It's called speculation which is different than starting a rumor.

Actually, if Brett was healthy, it's all but likely he would be gone by now. Even I have said this.
