I wandered over to the basketball game during intermission. The tech player that shares my last name is ****ing hot. We should hook up.

And she just scored!

This isn't even fair. Yoopers vs. A bunch of darkies?

This has to hurt for the ladies. Personally, I'd almost rather get dead last than second. Second makes all the effort expended to get there seem in vain. Furthermore, it makes you realize all the stars that will have to align once again to get another chance.

Still, they got an engineering school known for its hockey history and lopsided gender ratio interested in women's basketball. And it looks like there will be some hardware making the trip home after all. I call that a MORAL VICTORY!!!1!

So you're saying you'd rather have the hockey season than the Women's basketball season? I highly doubt that...

Twitch, go lay down for a while, the bad feeling your feeling right now will pass. You just had high expectations, and it will pass. It could have been worse, you could have had gone down to the wire and lost the who game on a last second play. Those my friend, those are daggers, because up until that last few seconds, you thought you had a shot at the title. At least you was blown out a bit, and never really had a chance. You saw it coming early and started to accept it.

Clayton State is a good squad, and probably could have done some damage in the D1 Ladies dance this year. After all this, Tech is still better than a lot of other schools out there, and there's probably a dozen coaches at D2 schools who's teams were in the basement of their conferences and have fans and parents calling for their heads that would gladly trade places with MTU right now.

I don't know how you guys do it. You put up with all of those idiotic WCHA teams and their fans (Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska-Omaha, etc.) and yet you still continue to roll through threads like they're nothing. How do you do it? I have new-found respect for the Techie's.

Well, Clayton State was a team made up of D1 and Junior College Transfers. I think there's only one player straight out of High School on the roster.
