Michigan Tech Offseason III: Two Years To Prove It Can Be Done

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Two Years To Prove It Can Be Done

As for Heisenberg, I don't think he keeps up with transfers and decommits as much during the summer months - just additions.
Heisenberg works whether it is summer or any other month. He has quotas to meet and Gus likes to kill people.

well this is not a total surprise given the possibility that the coaching staff might or might not have had an input. I do know that they have been putting in a tremendous amount of hours on recruiting. Still so few for 2012 is kind of concerning.

I'm not too concerned about 2012 yet. Last year we were still recruiting in December 2010 for the 2010-2011 season to fill in for injury/leaving players. Anything has to be better than that. Plus, we had a large freshman class last year, and some of the 2012 recruits are being pulled ahead, so we aren't losing all of them.

Mel is out there recruiting for 2012 - no doubt about it. He said that he would basically sacrifice his next two summers to get his first couple of classes in place. I'm not too worried.

I think it's great; it means that most of the recruits for '12' will be Pearsons in which I will wager will be along the lines of Davis - "a great skater". It will be refreshing to see a team that can skate with other D1 teams.

It would also be nice to see a team that doesn't miss the net by 2 feet on a wrister.

Big Blue this is for you. It was on French TV. It's what the rest of the world watches. The best part starts at 2:50. A very famous piece.

I like to think of myself open minded when it comes to music... but I just don't get opera. It seems like talented high pitch squeeling to me.

(excuse to save thread from page two)

Is that what it was? I don't look at videos posted here when I'm at work and I completely forgot to check back when I got home. I agree with you, opera is not appealing to me. I prefer to listen to music where there are actual lyrics, lyrics sang in english. Preferably with a little twang.

Yeah, it was an italian one I believe. I've no problem listening to music in other languages... but opera especially female high pitch stuff... is just bad.

I don't mind foreign language music (Gipsy Kings, Shakira, Rammstein, I like 'em all). Opera? Aside from the aria (is that correct?) "Figaro," opera can suck a big rubbery one. And why Figaro? Looney Toons and Bugs Bunny, of course. ;)
