The word out of the paint store is that Sarah Stream is the new assistant women's basketball coach and a Team Verizon store will be opening next to the Jimmy Johns.

In response to JSR... Erks is very good friends with Walt's son who is the same age... they skated on the same team together for tournaments after the high school season ended. With that being said ... Johnson and Erks are also very good friends, so it will be interesting to see if he follows him to NMU. I really hope he decides to stay closer to home and skate for the Huskies.

That's not out of the paint store--that's off of Shelden Ave when we ran in to my friend who's opening the Jimmy Johns. :p

In other, even more strange, news...one of the gals on the soccer team I played against tonight is actually a techie. I was shocked to say the least...even plays for the womens club team. :eek:

Duh. My question is, if Tech is such a miserable program that Walt is recruiting kids away, AND if Walt is the worst Division I coach ever...

... why didn't Rob Facca draft this Erkkila kid for Western Michigan? :D

The word out of the paint store is that the paint store is incredibly busy at lunch time. No time to discuss recruiting strategies.
