Michigan Tech Offseason 2014: Nothing To Say

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason 2014: Nothing To Say

Phillips, 2 goals allowed on 5 shots. Not the way to go about seizing the starting job.

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason 2014: Nothing To Say

Time to dump the "offseason" thread yet? Tech is 1-0 thanks mostly to a really good penalty killing effort late.

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason 2014: Nothing To Say

No chat via THG today it appears.

In general, after one period Tech is looking to be the better of the two teams tonight (other than the area over Phillip's left shoulder which has not improved since last night).
The LSSU netminder is keeping them in this series.

Phillips was much better today, giving up 1 goal and the offense continued to roll, 10 goals in 2 games and a road sweep of LSSU to start the season...now 2 weeks of nothing before MTU heads to FSU for a tougher challenge.

Yeah, we have been. Most of the power players from our posting heyday from '06-'09 or so have graduated and been scattered to the four winds. Plus there was the rise of the Tweeter machine and Bookfacething to distract us. I still hang around here, but I'm working in Alaska and mostly stick to the Lodge these days to avoid the purse fights that seem to have taken over D1.

It's the circle of life.
