Michigan Tech Huskies 2024-25 - OK MacNaughton, Stop Ducking Us

IMHO he was recruited. He could still have re entered the portal and transferred back. I'm glad he's back. The national press knows what's going on but most of the time keep their mouths shut. The only person who makes oblique references to this is Adam Woden and then rarely. I'm interested to find out what happens with roster limits.
Roster limits are set at 26 for ice hockey but there’s a grandfather clause that effectively removes the limit for the next few years. Whether the limit remains at 26 after that remains to be seen.

Not in 2025. :ROFLMAO: That ship sailed in the 90s when we failed to keep pace with the current blue bloods. But I guess in comparison to a startup program, I could see it.

Four players from Lindenwood plus another from Usport team. Wondering if some players from last year's team might be entering the portal soon.

On that note, THG is pretty sure Ethan DeKay and Maks Percic have already decommitted. Cuts to the current roster don't seem likely, but odds are we will have several players entering the transfer portal after this upcoming season once it's established how much playing time they're likely to get under the new regime.

We have our RHD with a commit from Kalem Parker of the Calgary Hitmen, who is expected to play top minutes right away. That wraps up the goaltending and defense for next season, with one more addition expected at forward soon.

Yes, we're supposedly going to carry 4 goalies unless anything changes soon. Vayrynen has considerably more work to do this summer if he wants the starting job though, as Manzella and Bartoszkiewicz should provide stiffer competition than Mullahy.

well it will be very interesting to see how the CHL inclusion works for CCHA teams like Tech and BGSU with the addition of the CHL players. I am going against this trend and go with the teams that did not add CHL players or 1 added. my top 3 this upcoming season 1. MSU Mankato 2. Bemidji 3 Ferris State (love this coaching change and no CHL players coming in)

Wasn't sure if Mullahy had a covid year and was coming back.

Not sure where you're going with this, but Bemidji added 6 CHL players to this year's upcoming roster, only one behind Tech. Does one CHL player make that much of a difference in your mind? Shouldn't your top 5 be Mankato (zero), Augustana (zero), St. Thomas (1), Ferris (zero), Northern Michigan (1)? That would leave Lake Superior (2), Bemidji (6), Tech (7) as the next three with BG (10) finishing last and missing the playoffs.
