naturally.... pasty.net seems to be down. Guess I might not be listening to the game.

Jeez I hope so
Starting the last 5 games he went 3-2 with a 2.0 GAA and a .928.

I think he's playing better than any of the 3 have all year. In my opinion he gives them the best shot at winning at BSU.

Congratulations to the Michigan Tech players and coaches for a smooth transition and a good season! While I'm glad we were consistently in the top half of the WCHA this year, this season was frustrating. Two steps forward, one step back.

Playing musical goalies killed us. I disagree with most of you, Angus should have stayed for this season instead of driving the Zamboni for the Ducks. Yes he got money, but it was just a 3-year entry level contract. Another good year and he would've gotten the same offer. One-and-Done is the ruination of college sports nowadays.

Coach Joe kept the wheels on the wagon this year but I really hope the coaching staff puts their unique stamp on this program in the off-season...

This team and this season have been an absolute roller coaster of emotions. To go from the highs of playing Wisconsin close the first game and winning the Ice Breaker to the losing streak starting with UAH and looking pretty bad at MSUM, the goalie carousel and the recent strategy of losing every Friday but winning Saturday, it's been a hell of a ride. This team has been both the most frustrating and had the most heart of any recent teams. I am excited to see what we can do at BSU.

I agree. I think Coach Joe doing the Goalie Shuffle for most of the year prevented this team from settling into a new system with a new coaching staff. And then the injuries picked a bad time to start piling up. Getting o
Some Baltus and Jackson back, and Kero stepping in and playing well has me optimistic for the series at BSU. Then we'll see what's in store for the semi-final round.

I like this team.

Technical difficulties for both radio broadcasts and TV as well

Get Tunin radio on your mobile for a backup.

Never could get pasty.net to connect. I was pointed towards the TunIn app. It wouldn't connect either.

Ended up going to the NMU web page and was able to connect to their broadcast. They must have been using a different feed? But they had problems too. Losing the feed several times during the game. Rough night for people wanting to listen in to the game.

Never lost my WCHA.tv feed (both nights), and they were using TV6's audio all weekend.

Also, I noticed Tech was still the scoreboard feed yet NMU was using TV6 graphics for intermission and chryons (unsure if the score bug was the same on both video feeds).

Re: Michigan Tech 2017-18 The Joe Shawhan Era Continues - Getting Better Everyday

Thanks. Those of you going to tonight's game, please post the attendance and a WAG of the NMU supporters present.

NMU had their usual vocal contingent over in the east wall corner of the "other side", where NMU shoots twice. There were also a handful of others scattered throughout the arena. Maybe 200 NMU fans total?

I hadn't been to a game in Houghton since 2012, and the upgrades to the sound system and overall game production are really legit. Unfortunately, I think this has come at the expense of the Misfits' creativity and overall enthusiasm.
