Despite there being 8 goals, 3 were on the PP so there were only 5 goals for MTU players to get a plus. Only 4 were on the ice for the meanE (new term for a SHG).

Results are looking a little different tonight...Puck not funneling into the net like last night!

They better pour it on in the 3rd!

Well that was just absolutely pathetic. To lose to a 1 win team is bad enough, to get shutout is an absolute embarrassment.

OH BOY! Does this mean the wheels are going to come off the bus?? Win 8-1 and then lose 2-0...

I am afraid this game is going to have some bad pairwise implications...

Wisco just doubled their win total for the season! I think Eaves job is safe.

What a disaster. That's twice in four games they've gotten beat by crappy team in spite of dominating possession. Anything in common besides hot goalies?

you know I hate losing.

We aren't going anywhere playing .500 hockey like we have been, So we have to figure out how to do better on our chances.

Also I didn't think it was all that well refereed. Especially in the 3ed.
Plus how do you give up a breakaway when you are short handed?

Bingo, 10-0 to start is great but only playing .500 hockey since then and that will NOT get us where we want, it may not even get us home ice for the WCHA playoffs.

yes, not bearing down around the net. And being satisfied to launch a ton of shots from the perimeter with no one battling to get to the front of the net. And a lazy power play that got progressively worse with each successive PP. Maybe some home cooking and WCHA play will cure them. But they need to show up and play the game instead thinking just showing up will do.

I hope so, problem is we've been better on the road this season, until now, lol. I hope they get out of this odd funk thing by the time I go up for Winter Carnival.

The Umbrella PP needs to go away. Hasn't done anything substantial for us in the last 6 games, except for yesterday. Show them different looks every PP. Give the opposing PK some issues. The lethargic play has to go away too.
Get down and dirty, crash the net, use the speed, get traffic in front, play for 60 minutes. This is how Tech was 10-0 to start the year. Those are the things we need to return to, in order to be successful.
