Well they already much improved over last year, last year couldn't read the player's numbers. So if they are getting new cameras I can't wait to see how much better the picture quality is.

It looks like first week of Nov is drop dead if contining with outdoor game. Mel hoping NHL can come to an agreement in next 3-4 weeks so we can have outdoor hockey.

This makes it sounds like (with the current state of the NHL CBA Talks) the prospects of having an outdoor GLI look small. I hope it's not the case because I was looking forward to attending.

What's up with Joel L'Esperance? He appears to have been inactivated, then cut by his USHL team (Tri-City) and a short Google search reveals nothing.

Joel L'Esperance is still on tri-city's roster and played in 2 games. I bet he had a leave of absence or something. Sounds like he had a wedding to attend or something.

You're making a huge assumption that the NHL will be back on the ice, or even exist, by the time the 2013-14 season rolls around. At this rate the AHL is poised to become North America's top professional hockey league.

He did - everyone except Jake Johnstone and Chad Pietila dressed.

The NHL will be back. The players will realize that living in Russia sucks and they'll be lucky to get paid by their KHL team in some weeks. They will cave and strike a deal.

The NCAA has a hard enough time keeping kids from going to major juniors and now they're pushing away a player who actually wants to go to college. Kid has been commited since he was 15.
