"Left" or was cut? Looking over all the guys on the Roughriders who dressed for the USHL preseason, and without knowing anything else, it must've been an ice time issue. He didn't light anyone up, but his stats don't seem to indicate that he was totally out of place either (6 GP, 0-1-1, even) - it's a big leap from the OJHL to the USHL. Maybe he (or the Tech staff) felt that he'd be better prepared by playing Top 6 minutes with his old club, vs. being told that he'd likely play fourth line minutes and/or only dress every other game in Cedar Rapids.

That's what I was wondering. Quite a ride for him, it had sounded like he was pretty impressive in the Lincoln Stars tryout camps, and then he gets traded and now he's headed back to St. Michaels.
And the WCHA media poll is out, Tech was listed at 9th.

No respect.......even after last season. By all accounts, this year's team should be as good or better than last year's team. I suppose it's cuz we're in a tougher schedule group than last year.

So in other words, the paycheck I collect on Friday will be gone by noon on Saturday... Ehh, it's going to a great cause, who cares.
They are going to look even better when worn as hosts of the WCHA first round playoffs. This is the year, I don't care what the preseason poll says. What do the "experts" know anyway? Everyone who posts here says we can do it and that is all that matters (well that and the scoreboard).

The Misfits will not travel en masse to Duluth this year, opting for SCSU instead. The reasoning for this is that the Duluth series takes place the weekend before spring semester begins, and it would be harder to entice students to return early than leave late (SCSU is the first weekend of spring break.)

Everyone should experience the National Concrete Center and a large order of Val's french fries as least once.
Would be nice to bust that "winless in St. Cloud" streak with a bunch of people there. I think it's going on 14 years now, and this will likely be our last ever crack at it.

Got my Minnesota tickets. I'll be at the KBC before the game friday for a brew or two around 5, so if anyone is there look for the bald guy and the good looking blonde. No Brent, forget it, she likes CLASS guys. I might also be with a professor buddy of mine, but he's harmless though he used to be the state wrist wrestling champion. It would be nice to meet some of the more famous posters.
