You repeatedly tell your average hockey dad that his kid sucks, and odds are he's not going to be too friendly with you. Just because he's a big-name coach these days doesn't mean he isn't still a crazy hockey parent at heart. ;)

I remember this, it was just shortly before Sam Lofquist decided he wanted to kill me.

The only Gopher I ever want to kill me was Tyler Hirsch, and really he tried to kill an empty net so that's an empty victory.

It was one of the last times you yelled it, where you were yelling it at about 5 minutes (at most) intervals. It was perfect. The play stopped, and there was a moment or two of silence, and you yelled it. tDon was looking towards the end of the ice, and then his head turned and his eyes focused directly on you.

No, it wasn't the Glare Of Death, but it was a "Dad Knows What You Did Staredown." :D

Oh and BTW, I kept getting annoyed at SCSU coming up with some nice saves or getting EXTREMELY lucky on scrambles in front of the net on Saturday so I came up with a new spelling cheer.

I bought my tickets to fly to Detroit for the GLI. I'll be getting to Detroit around noon on Monday the 28th and leaving Thursday morning. My friends that I'm meeting there are going to get a room at a hotel downtown. It should be a pretty fun time, as long as I don't get shot or stabbed.

I actually might make this year's GLI too. Not too sure on our plans yet though.

What if you get shot and stabbed? Would they cancel each other out?
