Yes... we should talk about the games.

I caught the UM/Miami game Saturday night. Hogan looked horrible. Given the potency of MSU's offense so far this season, you guys are in deep if the same guy shows up on the 13th and 14th.

The announcers Saturday pointed out that Hogan, "has a weakness in his 5-hole." Is this something that the team is doing to him at practice, or in the showers afterward (NTTAWWT).

Yeah... they sent them to the moon all right.

And when they got back, NASA drummed them out of the program FOR CHEATING!

All three crew members were formally reprimanded and their personnel evaluation Officer Efficiency Reports were changed to reflect a formal finding of "lack of judgment." Worden was reassigned within NASA from flight status. Scott was not reassigned. He had already begun working on the design of the docking module for the upcoming ASTP mission when the cover scandal broke. Irwin resigned to form "High Flight", a Christian outreach ministry based in Colorado. Congressional questioning of NASA officials about the "Stamp Affair" caused further embarrassment for the agency as the Apollo program wound down.

I don't think either team can claim any ground at all regarding football as of late. We've got Appy State and Toledo and what has passed for football the past two years. You have CMU (x3), Bobby Williams and Johnny L. Talking football smack here is like two cart jockeys at Walmart arguing with each other about how to make money.

This will die down soon. I've seen this before.

We have a penalty problem at MSU too, though not the malicious variety... more the stupid sort. Hopefully coach is focusing on eliminating that problem this week. If we can stay out of the box, good things are going to happen!

As a State fan I sorta worry about how the freshmen will react to the intensity this series brings out. We've got a problem already. Can guys like Hayes, Chelios and Merrifield keep their mature cool enough to stay out of trouble? Has the team been sat down and made to watch video of last January when one of ours lost his cool?

Can guys like Hayes, Chelios and Merrifield keep their mature cool enough to stay out of trouble? Has the team been sat down and made to watch video of last January when one of ours lost his cool?

Last year, the entire program was at a polar opposite state emotionally. The penalties this year haven't been the "lost our cool" variety. Saturday night, UM had a player kick a Miami player across his back with the blade of his skate while the Miami player was laying on the ice. We haven't had any nonsense like that this year.

I will be at both games. Although I'm sad that a certain player's Aunt most likely won't be at Munn telling me how cute and single her nephew is. Which is good since I'm bringing the bf to Munn with me

So why did Derek Grant not come to MSU in 2008-09 when other freshman played like Leveille, Perlini, Henderson, Merrifield, Warda that did not have his junior hockey production. Was it scholarship availability? Grant is a 1990 and he was drafted by the NHL in the mid-rounds, but stayed another year in the BCHL while MSU had significant scoring issues last year. Has Comley ever spoken to that?

Since when are both Tropp & Conboy only considered "one"?

Thugs I tell ya, thugs plain and simple. Although it looks as if Tropp was deserving of the second chance. However one small slip-up and I say hang him by his sack.
