Yeah, that's true. 1964, 1996, 1998 are the most recent. Oh, and that 1997 co-football thing happened too. And that 1989 bounceyball anomaly. Does that cover it? It's not like we can use MSU Rose Bowl failures like you can for Bo's regime, either. Banners are banners and we have more.:p

Just the same the comparison is valid. Future McVeigh's at work. Just genius.

For those of you relatively new here (meaning 4 years or less), this is what the board used to be like, only there was about 6-7 of these threads going on at any given time.

You guys should take this conversation out of the mud about talk about some of the great alums these schools have had. Like how Michigan had an alum go on to be President of the United States, or how MSU had an alum that went on to grow a lot of sorghum.

Like blueberries? The process that makes them easier and cheaper to grow commercially was developed at MSU. Had a loved one treated for cancer? They've probably taken a cisplatin drug, discovered by a former MSU professor. Ever read a novel by Richard Ford or Jim Harrison, or seen a Sam Raimi movie? MSU grads all.

You really want to take this discussion out of the mud? Talk about how good these games should be because, no matter how each team is doing, each one puts their best game forward for the other. Can we try that for awhile?
