Miami at Denver/ Saturday March 8

Re: Miami at Denver/ Saturday March 8

"Colitis" to the box. Eastwood's gonna have him doing PT for days. DU to the PP.

Re: Miami at Denver/ Saturday March 8

Tie game going into the third period. I'll wager there are no more than twelve people in Magness Arena right now who realize what's at stake for the Pioneers in the third period.

Quick story. WMU has beaten NoDak on a shorthander while killing a five minute major. The goal was set up by Mike Cichy. He transferred to Western from NoDak. Ahhhh, karma.

What a terrible shame that is for the Sioux. WOOT. Let's hope most of those people who know what's on the line in the 3rd are in the DU locker room. You know, the one with the jelly donut on the floor.

FWIW, Cichy transferred to Western after he didn't feel like he needed to work hard to get minutes. He has learned his lesson and has played much better for the Broncos than he did for the Sioux. It's nice to see him do well. He's a good kid.

The "change of scenery" scenario plays itself out once again. Cubs fan remember the "change of scenery" scenario for Lou Brock. Went from a so so outfielder in Chicago to a HOF player in St. Louis. With the Cubs, that's always the way it works.

Knee jerk, unthinking reaction is UNO fan would rather get Western Michigan than DU.

Your words, "pathetic effort" by the Sioux on Senior night.
Did they think cc was going to beat St Cloud? Or WMU wouldn't show up?

Re: Miami at Denver/ Saturday March 8

Win or lose Denver gets Duluth in the first round of the playoffs as Duluth has the tiebreaker over WMU.

If DU wins it stays home to play the Bulldogs, lose and the team heads to Amsoil Arena.

Duluth has played better on the road than at home.

Re: Miami at Denver/ Saturday March 8

Under these circumstances, if DU can't win one period at home against the last place team in the league, they don't deserve home ice in the playoffs. C'mon boys. Shut the old man up.
