Re: MIAC Women's Hockey
Impressive run for sure.
All good things come to an end. As in 3:27 of the 2nd period.

Or good timing to catch CSB and SCU back to back?
Go ahead and minimize what the young lady and team did in their 273 consecutive minutes of shutout hockey. WTH dude.
Marian ends the winning streak at 5 as they beat the Cobbers today 3-1. St Mary's up next weekend on the road.e
Gustavus gave Plattsburgh a scare today but couldn't hold onto a 3-1 lead after 2. Plattsburgh again looks like the power of Division 3 womens hockey.
I said, all good things come to an end...
The fact is - St. Ben's and St. Kate's are a combined 1-10-2.
With each only scoring 5 goals...that's a generous schedule. Not that CM has anything to do with the conference schedule, but it was generous to play two weak teams at home back-to-back.
Understand the teams they played as I watched all 273 minutes of it. She made some highlight reel saves during the streak despite the teams records.I was thinking the same thing but didn't say it out loud...many goalies have gone 4 games in a row without giving up a goal to weak competition. Shanley Peters had a 300 minute streak for Superior a few years ago against St Bens and Eau Claire. Or Sydney Aveson who started the season for Plattsburgh a few years back with a 399 minute shut out streak.
I'm not taking anything away from her, as it is a rare occurence to go that long, but do it against teams with winning records and I'll be more impressed

I'm sure your daughter is awesome

She's alright. Needs to pick up the pace to match last years point production, but so do some other upper classmen.
What's up with Gustavus?

St. Ben's sweeps St. Thomas
