Merrimack had their fair share of alcohol related issues with guys on the team during the Serino era. Maine has had a few issues the past few years with one of their defensemen. BU had the issues last year. UMass-Amherst has had a few kids get DUI's in the past five years. UNH has had a few drinking related issues, as has North Dakota. There was a certain former UVM player who got booted for driving a car while drunk into a dwelling of some sorts. Providence had an issue a few years back where some hockey players got into a fight off campus while being drunk. I'd be willing to bet most programs have some alcohol related issues each year.

calm it down bro. I just find it funny that everything with that was ok beacuse it was the operators fault. These are all college kids. 99.999% of them drink. guarantee it. Its not a newsflash. But most of them dont get caught and not all of them run into an mbta train.

all programs have their situations like this. its just typical bc fans that think they are all holier than thou and just beacuse it was ruled the fault of the mbta driver, then their angels are ok.

Praise be to Gene D and the rest of the "chosen ones"

To clarify though, I did think Trivino and Saponari were absolute morons for making it. Not trying to let them off the hook for what was in fact a horrendous video haha.

As I said, I'm not a BC fan and do hate the arrogance of many of them, but sterlipoo was right. And it just aggrevates me when some people make comments like "they were still underage, etc" when talking about issues like this. I just think as you said 99.9% of the country drinks underaged.

Yeah I hate BC fans more than anyone as well...kinda a common trend for anyone outside of Newton and I agree I give them credit for not driving themselves. They are retarded for being in a car that late clearly drunk and then running away from the accident. That is the funny part...like cmon can you imagine how sketchy that makes the situation. If they just stayed in the car and waited for the school to back them against the MBTA we know who wins that battle...I'll give you the hint its not the company in 125 million or billion dollar debt.

And even so I think the Notre Dame kids who rode standing in the pickup truck and wrestled the cop/tried to steal his taser that same week one-upped them for asininery anyway haha.

My main point is that while this video is downright lame....there are plenty of worse things out there that one could be ashamed of.

Students across the board do things that are idiotic AND put other's in harms way. Take the riots at the JMU spring block party for instance...now there's something to be ashamed of.

For all we know this kid's a special needs kid who is a big fan of Merrimack Hockey (my apologies to the guy if he's not actually special needs).

Salvo, my comment was said completely in jest...I've been a proud alum of MC since '98...and trust me, some of the win total in the early-mid 2000's were more embarrassing...was just joking around. Nobody is ashamed of their alum by some white kid trying to rap, and doing a completely AWFUL job of it LOL So calm down Salvo...we are all just having a good time at this kid's expense :)

i will tell you this much, if Jerry York, presented with the FACTS did not suspend the players then i would have to say that the players/students were not at fault. He is not one to let someone on the team get away with bad behavior and behavior unbecomming of an BC hockey player. If you are as knowledgeable as you think you are then you already know this fact. Please go read and reread the story. ok? and i did not call them "innocent angels" as you say.............those were your words

and THE common trend of your posts is that you have to profess your hatred of Boston College in just about every one of them ,hence rendering your posts meaningless and with no credibility. get over it. Also "a common trend outside of Newton"? maybe in your small circle buddy........

I am suppose to read the news? Maybe I'm just a stupid fanboy but don't you watch the news? Maybe read the paper in search of the news so I'll just let that go to avoid a "HAHAHAHAH you are so stupid. Maybe you can work for me someday" response. I also said that the kids apparently did nothing wrong(drinking underage happens) as proven by the investigation but they were dumb to run away from the crime scene. You can't deny that... If you run away from the scene of the crime you think you did something wrong. We know the MBTA loses that battle everytime unless the driver was drunk which she wasn't. So I think we agree but I am sure you guys got something in response.

Second, real classy claver I feel Slasher just got banned for making a very similar offensive type of joke on here so you should probably delete that before you get a nice little e-mail from the mods and will be MIA for a couple weeks.

Third, yeah I hate BC and you all hate BU and Jack Parker. It is how this rivalry works. I don't refuse to recognize when BC does something right as I have on here before. But yes sterlippo people outside of your BC circle hate your fans and the arrogance they bring with them. Scroll down this thread a little bit there and see how MC fans just said they don't like BC fans for their arrogance. They probably hate me too but atleast I admit it and don't pretend the whole world loves me.

you are incorrect, there are many people who like Boston College in this area that are not alumni. are you from here? and am i supposed to think that because some people that post on USCHO do not like BC that that is a representative sample size? i will add one more thing before i end this for me as this is Merrimack's thread..............you are new here and for someone so new you are quite shall i say , brash? you come here with the style of a sledgehammer . i do have hope for you though as you have a plethora of great , knowledgeable BU fans that write excellent,interesting and funny posts to emulate like mookie, davestpaul, buoldtimer ,sean pickett, scarlet and many , many others who write nothing like your hate infested garbage so start taking notes from them. i am aware of the rivalry and it is like no other, we can at least agree on that.........i think
