Mercyhurst up 5-0 after 1 period. Actually, it was 5-0 10 min into the game. Ciampa in net for the Lakers.

5-1 after 2 periods. Fluke goal by Lindenwood off the helmet of a Mercyhurst player. MC had 33 shots on goal that period and couldn't get one past the goalie.

I see Lindenwood started their backup goalie and she allowed 3 goals on 6 shots. Their starting goalie has had some pretty good games, considering she has to face a lot of high-quality scoring chances.

7-2 final. MC 3rd and 4th line played most of the night. Glad to see Lindenwood didn't throw it in after giving up 5 quick ones. I think with a few recruiting classes, they will be fine (no worse than Ohio St anyways).

Does anyone know if B.Bram is okay, and what the injury was? she left the period after the first and didnt come back..

From what I was told she hurt her hip, but her sister told me after the game that she will be ok.

Good to hear that B. Bram is OK. Credit to Coach Sisti's sportsmanship in playing lines 3 and 4 heavily once they grabbed a big early lead. 12 hours is a long bus ride home for a new team.

I've never seen this team play so boring. There was a skate with the players after the game and I just wanted the game to be over so everyone could skate

Yea, so wouldn't have the mommy's and daddy's from Brown all up in a roar again.

Safe to say, they had their own issues at the time. Slightly different story here.

Merry Xmas to the Laker faithful! Probably see you next at the "Beef and Beatles". :)

Yeah Merry Christmas to all the people that go to the games. I'm looking forward to Beef and Beatles. There's some good stuff for auction and you can see it on Facebook.
