Somebody ought to tell Mitch that being an ignorant sapsucker about the pronunciation of player names has limited comedic value.

Break in the action as a pane of glass has come loose. Little over 2 minutes left in regulation.

Haven't heard Larraza or Didier mentioned

From Chambers...

Tonight was supposed to be the unofficial University of Denver hockey debut for Littleton product Josiah Didier, the freshman defenseman who helped lead the U16 Colorado Thunderbirds to the 2010 Tier 1 national championship — Colorado’s first title of its kind. Instead, the 18-year-old will miss the exhibition game against McGill University of Montreal because of a foot injury. He took a Dustin Jackson shot off the foot in practice recently and is out of the lineup for precautionary reasons.

Meanwhile, another blue-chip freshman — forward Zac Larraza from the U.S. National Development Program — won’t play tonight because of NCAA clearing-house issues, I’m told, and junior forward Chris Knowlton and freshman forward Matt Tabrum aren’t playing because of team-imposed suspensions.

I will have updates about all of the above from coach George Gwozdecky’s in tomorrow’s paper/online.
