The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Tonight was supposed to be the unofficial University of Denver hockey debut for Littleton product Josiah Didier, the freshman defenseman who helped lead the U16 Colorado Thunderbirds to the 2010 Tier 1 national championship — Colorado’s first title of its kind. Instead, the 18-year-old will miss the exhibition game against McGill University of Montreal because of a foot injury. He took a Dustin Jackson shot off the foot in practice recently and is out of the lineup for precautionary reasons.
Meanwhile, another blue-chip freshman — forward Zac Larraza from the U.S. National Development Program — won’t play tonight because of NCAA clearing-house issues, I’m told, and junior forward Chris Knowlton and freshman forward Matt Tabrum aren’t playing because of team-imposed suspensions.
I will have updates about all of the above from coach George Gwozdecky’s in tomorrow’s paper/online.
