Jackie and companywho are you facing next?
I'll give the coaches credit. And since [blank] rolls uphill, you can read that as giving credit to Whitehead.![]()
He was being sarcastic. Over the moon right now. I love this year's team and have from day one.
WCHA: Wisconsin beats Denver tonight, NoDak on Thursday, the Gophers on Friday and win Saturday.
So would the GardenThe TD Garden congratulates Maine on their quarterfinal win and thanks you in advance for filling their building next Friday night.![]()
Personally, I'd love to see a BC/Maine final on Saturday.![]()
Denver just knocked out Wisco in ot. 1 less option.
And in the process, Denver's win bumps Maine up to 10th, ahead of North Dakota. ND still has the comparison v Maine, but it rests on their RPI advantage. At the moment, that's 0.0007. That one could flip easily if things go right next weekend.
Enough with the pessimism. Now I want to know (from the pwr gurus) what it takes to get Maine in the 2nd band (seeded in top-8).![]()
Win Hockey East
OR
Beat BU, SCSU defeats NoDak AND Minnesota
This. I don't even understand why they need an embellishment penalty. Just call the thing unsportsmanlike conduct and not call the trip/slash/hook whatever.

GO BLACK BEARS!!!
Yes lets HOPE the injury to Parker is not serious...he looked to be in pain and was unable to put much weight on his leg/knee area...he's a high energy/hustle player that may not be seen on the score sheet but is a very important player to say the least...hopefully he mends quickly.Good Analysis!
A game just like Friday in that Maine stayed out of the box and controlled tempo. D did a good job clearing the net front to not allow second chances. Still don't understand how Anthoine's goal is disallowed. Rule is can not be kicked in with a distinct kicking motion. He is driving the net, turns skates to stop as Cannata kicks it and goes off Anthoine and in. Maine showed resilience and played a good third. Hope Parker is not injured as bad as it looked, the kid can play.
Power play will need to get better for BU.
And oh yeah, we're going back to the TOURNAMENT, and by that I mean the NCAA's. Despite how badly Dennehy outcoached Tim tonight! Again as a non-apologist why is it on the coaches when we lose and just the players when Maine wins????
I give everybody credit, and Dan Sullivan's improvement has been key!!
