Hasn't he been to Orono multiple times including recently? I think that a big issue with him is that he come in next season and it looks like he will.

I was just speculating...

But it seems to me that a ROY in the OJHL would be the kind of obvious blue-chippa that a higher-profile school would snatch away from Maine.

(Hope I'm wrong.)

Why because he needs better role models than Spencer Abbott and Gustav Nyquist? If he bolts it'll be for Major Junior right not another college.

It all depends on who drafts him. If the wings or a team like them does he probably will. If he does I think next year's class is the best we've had since '98.

Shore's Whitby Fury loses to Stouville 5-1 in the 1st game of the OJHL Championship. He had an assist and his playoffs totals are 6 goals and 20 assists in 18 games

Better than a class with Moore and Howard and this last one with Abbott-Flynn-Nyquist-O'Neill?? Those are some huge expectations.

To Sportmanic: What are the chances of Maine re-visiting bringing in Swann Boisvert,with the loss of Matt Mangene and the rumors swirling around that Joey Diamond is about to leave,do you think Boisvert & Maine get back into the mix or will Maine wait and see with what they have for Forwards and hope that Devin Shore is a Black Bear come this Fall..?

I highly doubt Boisvert would be recommitting but I can certainly look into that...I think Maine will go with who they have now coming in now and hope Shore (had two assists last night in a win) sticks to his commitment.

I contacted Cam Brown to see if he's coming in next year but I haven't heard back from him

What are the chances of getting any one as good as Johnny Gaudreau? Slim and none ?

Kid was committed to Northeastern and played for Montgomery if we don't have a prayer at finding someone at least sort of under the radar like that we might as well pack up and quit.

He played for Jimmy? Wow. Guess I can' t whine if a kid goes to BC, why go anywhere else if Jerry wants you on his team? The best you can hope for is 2nd place as long as Jerry is coaching, the guy is a hockey god. BTW I doubt Maine gets anyone as good as Gaudreau , that 3rd goal was awesome

This all happen this summer when Greg Cronin left to join the Toronto Maple Leafs....Northeastern was in flux with their AD and Cronin at odds and when Cronin left they did not fill their Coaching spot right off. So BC's gain and NU's lost.

It was a great goal and this kid has the flare to be around the puck...he'll be a tough customer to deal with in Hockey East play...also from Montgomery's Team this coming season joining the Hockey East ranks: Matt Morris/Goaltender to Maine and Forward Zemgus Girgerous/Forward is heading over to Vermont...looks like Montgomery has a eye for talent.

Shore could be as good. That 3rd goal was "Kariya like". What a pain in the arse he will be to play against for the next 3 years! (and it may just be 3 years due to his size).

You can see he has the Talent and he looks like he's having fun at doing it...he could be scary for those 3 years...especially with a BC Team that RELOADS each year,NOT Rebuilds.
