There may have been a crossed wire in the communications. Dave may be the goalie coach for summer camp, not with the team. Am efforting a clarification now.
Roller hockey?
Im lovin the stretch October 25th-December 7th 11 straight Hockey East games and Amherst and Vermont make up 8 of those games and BU, BC and UML all at home over that stretch...really solid chance to build up momentum
Only problem is only 7 of those are league games
Hey can you explain why that is?

Thanks Priceless, I try and keep up with this board and Hockey East in general...I knew there were changes with the playoff format and season schedules but I didn't realize/grasp that we were going to play Hockey East teams as out of conference games. How can you tell which 7 games count out of the 11 I mentioned?

I don't think its the money aspect...great that he's willing to go forward and help the team, never figured he'd be interested in such a position...does he reside in the area compared to Alexander the Great..?I like the pick, he is a volunteer asst, they get paid diddly squat, you ain't getting Patrick Roy to come in for a few grand. I think he'll work hard and the players will like him
After reading your post this very well could be the truth,my first thought about Wilson doing the job surprised me,that he would even be interested in the first place, but somewhat like in Baseball where the backup catcher or the Career Minor Leaguer becomes a top notch Manager(Joe Maddon/Earl Weaver to mention a couple)...I hope and wish him well,as he goes the Maine Goaltending situation will go....plus with the Veteran Coaching of Gendron/Leach to go along with the New rookie asst. coach in Guite,Wilson has a lot to fall back on for help(if needed). A blend of past/present and future. At least they brought someone in to coach the goalies. Keep in mind, sometimes people are better teachers than players. Knowledge is different than execution. I know what a proper golf swing looks like but can I execute it consistantly? No, but I can still show you. Just because you don;t have the physcal gifts doesn't mean you don't have the knowledge and skills to teach.
So a bottom-third team will occasionally upset a middle-third team. Big deal. The number of bottom-third teams that go on to upset a top-third team in an away series will be very, very small over time. Why leagues continue to bother including bottom-feeders in league tourneys is beyond me. Actually, it isn't - follow the Benjamins.Hockey East AD's voted for single games for the teams positioned 6 - 11 in the final standings. This has the makings for a real upset and could have implications for teams in the pairwise rankings. Teams 1 - 5 get byes and the winning three teams in the single elimination game will be re-seeded. Very interesting.
Yup...and that's how they spell NC$$.!So a bottom-third team will occasionally upset a middle-third team. Big deal. It went with the high school level defense Tim employedagreed about his on-ice abilities however, the BC Hockey East Championship game was brutal to watch other than the one huge breakaway save. the OT goal was a high school level save.
