I would argue that the majority of Maine fans think its a given and only a matter of time before Red gets them back to the upper echelon of college hockey. At least the ones on this board anyways...

I don't think there is an upper echelon in college hockey anymore, just look at some of the teams that have made the frozen four the last five or six years.

I don't have time to go through 20 pages of posts, but if you can't see by now that Red has already been anointed the new Messiah, then I don't know what to tell you. Most Maine fans just cant accept the fact that the Walsh years were a once in a lifetime phenomen and that they are no longer in that same top grouping as BC, North Dakota, MN, Michigan, etc and likely never again will be. You'll make the NCAA's now and then and the rarer FF, but that's about as good as its gonna get....

signs that fall and winter are coming:

frost on the pumpkin
clear sailing on route 1 sans tourists
acs/all bear has stockpiled enough allen's to get him though to spring
chris!!!!/eaglebunny/something/something/something/carlton has stopped by the remind us all of how inadequate our program is and always will be...

Not what I said at all, Maine CAN be a good program again, people just need to lower their expectations, as FF's are not going to be the regular occurance that they once were.

Cultivate a hobby of some sort, find a real job, or fix-up your mom's basement... (It's nice of her to let you stay there, but she should shut your internet down.)

If its so obvious it shouldn't take much to show it. C'mon a few quotes showing a majority of Maine fans think Red is the chosen one should be easy for a roads scholar such as yourself

Why is everyone keep referring to me as acs? I have no idea who this guy is, it isnt me anyway.

I saw in the Hockey East Weekly release that UMass Amherst had an attendance of over 7,000 this past weekend against Michigan State. I was curious to see what the ticket prices were there, and all of them were under $20.

How many seats total in the Alfond are marked $50 compared to the seats with the $23 price? There were a lot of happy UMaine students that were filling in those $50 seats when the balcony filled up this past weekend.

The students at UMaine are the only hope that Maine has if they ever want a sellout crowd when so many of the seats are overpriced.

Both games are on TV this weekend.

Lots of folks referred to that dope carlton as Chrissy in the past 2 years .. Nice try though :D They also called him eagle bunnie and some girls name. Explains my belief his/her bra size is larger than his IQ :)

Wally, I am not going to reread several hundred posts to prove my point, but I just randomly picked this page and found the above gem. This is what I am talking about, where Maine fans think it's just a matter of time before you're back to the FF every year. You are blind if you can't see that this is a common theme with Maine posters...

A guy who signed two years ago definitely doesn't know Chris used a women's name way back when. He also wouldn't mention projects that I know are being built by a construction firm that acs worked for
