Goaltending coach with the USA hockey national team development program. Where is Falco - jail?
The sad part about Falco is he "ONLY" has himself to blame...he had his chance and choice's and he more or less had a little glory then it all went down the tubes...still to bad in the long run.

I guess Lowell is a better program than Maine with their 3 national titles, maybe thats why Shawn choose Timmay as his replacement. :p
Its got to suck when both Lowell and Maine have had more success than UHN

does it strike anyone else that Big Papa started posting at about the time that some of us were calling Pro1Disp/93Champs/Priceless/Forsyth out for stating his lies and potentially trying to get US to give the facts and examples on what exactly makes Whitehead a bad D1 coach and leader? and at he same time that people were asking about how he threw Grant and Shawn under the bus during the NCAA investigations?.. and asking if he really was HAPPY that the program is tanking...

has anyone else notices that BigPapa is exactly as insightful as Priceless in his "analysis" of Whithead's ablities?

gosh, they both just state opinions as though the are facts and then turn tail and run.

who will be going to the lobster fest in Ellsworth?
I kinda wish that I were able to make it, but I really have a problem throwing money at the program and making people think that supporters are happy with how things are being "run"

Who cares, why bother responding to either one if they bother you that much? Ignore is your friend.

Not sure what the problem is guys? We all love the Black Bears. We all want them to succeed.
Gotta admit I love the atmosphere in our rink and our loyal fans.
Sure we always want to win a championship but we have to trust in our coaching staff and thier excellent abilities and our players are quality athletes that give 100% every game and that's a lot to cheer for!

Go Black Bears!!!!

I didn't pay very close attention to what last season's Freshmen contributed...But I was shocked to read 2-7-9,for the entire class???Gonna take more than bringing them in early to get Maine back on the map again,IMO.

Tim is grasping at straws, clearly.I commend him for trying to do what he can to improve the situation, but I still think that he's not the man for this job.Pretty sure that the coming season will make it obvious.

Part of that is that for the most part, TIMMAY won't play his freshmen in any significant roles unless he absolutely needs to, or they're so good, or the team is lacking in any depth, that he needs to. How much ice time have Amestoy, O'Connor, Nemec, Anthoine, Beattie, Pryor, and countless others in the past, gotten when they were freshmen? TIMMAY plays defensemen at forward and forwards at defense rather than play a freshman player in their natural position, when they do get a shot, they make a mistake and they're back in his doghouse in the stands, and as a result, they've been slow to develop, and find a place within the team.

This year he has no choice, and he knows it, after losing just about all his scoring and his top defense from last season, the year that was supposed to be "the year". Either freshmen step up and produce right away, or he's out of a job, and he knows it.

Unfortunately, looks like he missed his opportunity to go back and lead his alma mater.

What are those white tubes that are going the length of the ceiling? AC?

50" HVAC ducts. The system wasn't finished yet, hence the fog. Should make the building a lot more comfortable. It would get pretty toasty and humid in there, especially during basketball games. But with the rinkfloor, ice cover subfloor, and HVAC system, the humidity and the fog should now be a nonissue.

1 winning season in the last 21 years, I'll take our history at the DI level over theirs at DII 33 years ago. Other than their time as an independent DI has not been kind to them - their win percentage since joining Hockey East: .380
