Re: Lunch

I don't understand the Chipotle crapper jokes at all. Their food never gives me any trouble, even when I order the "hot" salsa.
Mexican food holds a certain stigma. Chipotle serves large burritos, a type of Mexican food. It should be pretty simple.

Never had much problem with it either. I usually go with the corn salsa and spike it with the hot sauce in the bottle. Best surefire way to clear out your sinuses.

For some people, I guess. Or maybe I'm an exception?

It's the Indian food that gets me. Tried it twice, loved it, and it ended with me going home from work early both times as I vomited in the parking lot on the way to my car, followed by a hellacious evening in the bathroom. Haven't eaten it since.

Re: Lunch

Once every hour, lile Old Faithful?

Trouser chili is not an edible dish. And a shart is not a kind of fish.

Re: Lunch

Lunch this week is Carribean rubbed grilled chicken (mix of sugars, allspice, cayenne, garlic and onion powder), spicy smashed sweet potatoes, and broccoli and carrots.

Re: Lunch

For some reason I read "rubber" instead of "rubbed", and for a minute I thought you had lost your fastball.

Re: Lunch

Yesterday's work pot luck left my stomach feeling horrible. I think it was the canned sloppy joe sauce that someone brought in (as opposed to my overeating).

Today, lightened it up with ham, cheese and spinach on wheat bread. Went to the nearby park and watched the river flow by on this gorgeous sunny 70 degree day.

Re: Lunch

Stopped at a Mexican place in Cannon Falls, MN on my way back from a Mayo meeting in Rochester. Had a combo of chicken Enchilada and chicken Taco with rice and beans, with iced tea. Pretty tasty, but could have done without Mexican talk radio playing over the sound system. Cheesy Mexican music would have been preferred.

Re: Lunch

Work sponsored a summer BBQ. Burgers, dogs, slaw, potato salad, mac salad, mac & cheese, cookies for dessert.

The irony of this? Had lunch with the CFO on Tuesday afternoon, and he posed the question of how the company could encourage employees to live healthier lifestyles to keep the costs of our expensive healthcare plan low. :p

Re: Lunch

Leftover Friday night nachos (chips, Mexican cheese, ground beef, black beans, green pepper, red onion, lime/serrano hot sauce, sour cream, avocado).

Way better than any nachos you'll order at a sporting event, I assure you. :D
