Not necessarily. I counted at least 6 UAA shots that weren't counted. Our shot keeper is AWFUL, and this has been going on for years. The Lakers had more shots as well.

Some people think every play a goalie makes is a save/shot on goal. if a goaltender stops a puck that is going wide or high, it is not counted as a shot on goal.

Getting a bit sick of so many goals having to go upstairs, especially when an overturned goal becomes a factor in determining the winner.

Wouldn't you rather see them get it correct, though?

Lakers are up 2-0 after the 1st period. Perhaps this will be their night...

I'm aware of what a SOG is. When it's shot into the goalies belly button and he's in the center of his net, it's a SOG. And yes, believe it or not, those are not always counted. Sad, right?

Thank god the bleeding has stopped and the lakers can get two weeks of practice going before their next game.

Our opponents record is now 27-4-5. Anyone who thinks the Lakers have been under performing is foolish. I know it's frustrating but when you have a young team that was already predicted to finish 9th in the conference starting out against some of the best teams in the nation, you're going to get these results. Last weekend was a good showing of how much heart this team has, they may not have the talent yet but they're still going to go out and compete every night.
We're in one of, if not the toughest conferences in the nation right now and if we finish tenth that will be a disappointment but I think anything better than last in a conference this tough with a young team and coaching staff should be viewed as a positive.

That's to bad Alaska Fairbanks has been banned from post season play due to NCAA violations at the school.
