That is the way you want to finish the first half of the season .
A very good weekend of hockey for LSSU. The goaltending and defense was outstanding, and the offense made the most of their chances. Getting Campbell back after the break with be a plus.
I was not impressed. However, I don't think either team gained an advantage. There were some bad calls or non-calls both ways. The most preposterous was the interference call on Power right after the 10 minute misconduct against Lain. Yes a minor should have been added to Lain's penalty. Calling Power for INT before the puck hits the ice on the ensuing faceoff was a classic make up call. Two types of calls that bug me, one: blatant make ups like the one here on Power. The other is when one guy gives another a shot and there's no call, but when the opponent retaliates, they both go. If it is a penalty after the retaliation, why was it not called in the first place?Thank you David. I would like your honest opinion on wilkins job for the weekend. I ask because I know you can give it unbiased.

In response to Laker Blue, I really liked Robinson as a freshman last year and he is looking good this year as well. If you can keep him for four years and he continues to mature and improve, you've got something special there.
Press release for the additional recruits for next season.
