Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

Re: Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

as america gets dumber, they'll put any god**** word in the dictionary. any marxist would know that the term is "marxist"

We don't play again until February, we'll revisit this then. Hopefully BU will score a goal or two by then. Good luck in Huntsville.

Re: Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

Lowell is apparently the highest ranked opponent to go into UAH. So let's go be good guest and sweep. Yeah? ok.

Re: Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

It looks like the Huntsville Havoc (SPHL) will be playing an afternoon game on Saturday (3:30 pm) prior to the River Hawk/Charger game. Former River Hawk Nick Monroe plays for the Havoc along with Paul Falco, remember him? Former Hockey East players Bill McCreary (PC) and Ray Ortiz (NU) are also on the roster.

Re: Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

So back to UAH and UML. With the stats I'd put up earlier, I think both these games are close. I'd love to see Lowell blow them away, but I think their goalie will keep them in both games.

If Lowell can score even strength goals and keep the PP clicking then I'm very confident in sweeping on the weekend.

I hate road games against teams I haven't seen.

I know what you mean about the latter part.

UAH has played one ranked team already, #8 (currently) Notre Dame, on the road twice. They schocked the Irish the first game, 3-2. They lost the second 3-1. They were outshot the first game 41-31, and the second game 51-14. UAH took 5 penalties in the first game, 13 in the second, but held a pretty good Irish team to only 3 for 14 on the power play. UAH was 1 for 13 on the power play themselves.

Re: Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

Thanks for your input. When I brag about my team the first thing I think of is ties
I wasn't bragging--just pointing out that you were unable to beat a team that you don't consider "good." Wait til March, then I'll be bragging.....

Re: Lowell @ Huntsville 11/13-11/14

A tie at home?! Put up a banner.
No need for a banner. The point is, if you're going to look down on a team, you should at least be able to beat them.

I know how you'll respond, so puhleeeeze, spare me the talk about last year.

If you knew how he was going to respond, why even bother posting on a thread that has nothing to do with your team?

We'll hold our breath in anticipation. In the meantime, worry about BC.

Correction, the thread had nothing to do with my team until it was disparaged by UMLGoon.

I do agree though--let's focus on our own teams instead of mouthing off about others.

BTW, the only reason I looked at this thread to begin with, is because I think it's an intriguing matchup! A pretty darn good team in UML (yes, I said that) goin down to Alabamee to play some hockey. Who'd a thunk it? Good luck and don't bother coming back north with less than 4 points. ;)

They just need to take care of business and play a solid 60 minutes each night. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes to the line up with this being an NC series. Last night Blaise mentioned Chris Ickert has looked very good in practice. He also mentioned there were a few players that are banged up. Regardless of the line up, Lowell needs to win these games.

It'll be interesting if they decide to blow off Ickert's redshirt at this point. Has Carr fallen so far off the pace that Ickert could get in first?
