Lfc 2015

Re: Lfc 2015

Same story, different year. When will they learn? SNC is recruiting out of the top junior leagues and LFC is getting guys from the Middle-of-no-where Junior Hockey League. Lets hope they can keep it under double digits tonight.

Re: Lfc 2015

A weekend split, better than I expected I must admit. Wheels came off the second game nevertheless, a fast start to the season. They have to prove they can be consistent and not depend too heavily on offense, defense or goal.

Not ready to eat crow yet because there is just too much to correct to contend.

Re: Lfc 2015

A road sweep this weekend should put Lake Forest in the rankings. If they are the real deal we should know this weekend. A 5-1-0 record will look pretty good.

Re: Lfc 2015

Ever the optimist..... Jack cannot play this team into contention. Will another middle of the pack result get attention and precipitate changes?

Re: Lfc 2015

Does Aurora playing LFC look like LFC playing the Pointers?

What happens when Aurora get more talent because hockey is important there?

Re: Lfc 2015

Heading into the break looks like standard LFC season. Beat SNC which is great but nothing to remark about. JL having a great season, need to get some consistent stopping of rubber.

Re: Lfc 2015

It's still hard to tell how this season is going to play out. They very well could win or lose a good portion of the remaining games (MSOE, Adrian, Marian, and Lawrence). Goaltending will be key down the stretch as scoring hasn't been a problem this far.

Re: Lfc 2015

HMMM funny how other schools are playing and quality opponents too. How about we come your way (east) and play, o, I don't know Norwich! You can't be serious and say taking off until the 6th of January is serious hockey, come on get real. The message the school and coaching staff are sending is clear. It's a wonder there is a season at all.

Finals and end of semester play into the break until after Christmas.

Guess no one else is serious about hockey either.

Re: Lfc 2015

Welp, playoff hopes are dwindling. They are having trouble scoring enough goals and the goaltending tandem has been struggling.

Re: Lfc 2015

So no surprises, enough to not rock the boat and not enough to move forward.

Prediction: No outcry from Forrester Nation to be better
No pushing from the AD to be better
Northland will continue to grow better as they have fire in the belly and can recruit
Adrian & SNC will be atop next season again
