Lake Placid-Who's broadcasting, and when?

Re: Lake Placid-Who's broadcasting, and when?

Russell, (or anyone else)
I've forgotten which end the home team shoots at twice? Is it the section 1 seats, or the other end??

I have no clue. I'm lucky if I remember which way to pull out of my driveway in the morning time...

I just signed up for the free account on fasthockey.com. They send you a confirmation email, it was sent to my spam folder. Be sure sure to check yours so there are no problems.

Just be aware there are live events just before the hockey broadcast which could eat into the hockey broadcast if they go late.

At 1:00, CBS College Sports is showing the D3 Men's basketball national championship live. Then, at 3:00, they are showing the D3 Women's basketball national championship live.

Finally, at 5:00, is "our" national championship game live.
At least it is not a lacrosse game.

I think it's the end opposite the media room. That's the way Stout was going in the 3rd period last year and I'm pretty sure they were the home team.

The home team attacks the end nearest the main entrance twice.

Atleast that's the way it was in 2008 with Elmira and Plattsburgh.

The higher seeded team will be designated as the home team and will wear its light colored uniform. The lower seeded team will be designated as the visiting team and will wear its dark colored uniform.

The higher seeded team will use the “home bench” of the 1980 Rink Herb Brooks Arena. The home bench is located to the left of the visitor’s bench when looking from the stands behind the benches.

That would put the "Home Bench" in front of sections 6/7, and the "Home Zone" would start and finish in front of sections 2/1/26/25.

Might be a bit crowded in the venue unless CBS and NEP are rolling in early Saturday morning for park, power and set.....

CBS shows up about an hour before the game...

And the announcers come in completely unprepared. You should have heard their questions in the press room before the game last year.

This game isn't considered a plum assignment for talent...

Are you kidding ... I'd take it in a second ... I bet Ducky would too ...

In fact why doesn't which ever one of us that loses Friday night (uh, that would be the Duck) just do the game on CBSCS on Saturday.

Some one want to call them and arrange that? Thanks! :D

I recall in years past George would do ECAC D-1 college games on Empire sports or its predecessor. He knew what he was talking about. Let him simulcast.

Is this like the old Emergency! TV show where we used to bet on which way the fire trucks would turn when they came out of the station?
