Cheerleaders on ice at Alfond! Sacre bleu!!! I thought they were different because (1) they were cute and (2) they wore hockey skates.

Walrus called the the 'Skating Skanks" and I respecfully disagreed.

Well I guess Timmay's rope-a-dope plan was a big fail. What do you suppose his plan will be for tonight? Perhaps the no plan, confuse the opposition with some random hockey play??? How can you not be prepared to come out to skate with BC ? Yikes, talk about dangerous.

One bright spot I guess is that Diamond has finally found his touch. Maybe he'll breakout. He was billed as a pure goal scorer....more of that would help. Not optimistic for tonight....had picked a BC sweep....likely to get one of those.....has the WBG returned yet? Perhaps she was a good luck charm. She sure charmed me. :)

i blame it on the broadcasting company. Ever since they switched from stephen king's station the hockey team (and really all sports) has been in the toilet. :eek:

The Pro had drool on his chin, being old I'm not sure if thats usually there or it was the cheerleaders:D

The pressing question remains: will skating cheerleaders make us a better hawkey team? I think the obvious answer is yes. But I agree, photographic evidence is required for us southern naysayers. Cell phone quality is acceptable.:) Now, lets get on it!

There's a difference between BU and BC ???:confused: I always thot they were one in the same. :p

Can someone tell me why Scott Hansen has a tinted visor???? You can't tell me that it's too brite out on the ice....and if his eyes are that senstive to light, he shouldn't be a ref.

As a spectator that was a fun game to watch. BC has way more talent than Maine but Maine took it to them for most of the game. There was only about 5minutes of that tentative crap and it cost them but...
Nyquists goal was awesome. Pryor looked ok out there, not sure where Banwell is?? He can take Van Dyks place if you ask me, tough night for him. Darling was good, couple of nice saves, didn't even move for the game tying goal and the 3rd was one he should have had but he saved them a few times also. Every time I think Dee is a waste he scores a goal, he also won a bunch of faceoffs tonight. Wasn't a win but I'll take it.

I believe Scott Hansen received a serious eye/face injury last year. That may be the reason for the tinted visor. I believe that injury is why all officials are now wearing visors.

I recall one ref getting hit in the face last year. But I still don't understand the tint?
