Jack Parker To Announce Retirement Monday, Really.

Re: Jack Parker To Announce Retirement Monday, Really.

Dale arnold just had a raging pants tent talking to parker

Dan Duquette Jr. just made an ***** of himself of NESN "correcting" Ryan Whitney saying, "as a BC guy... I have to point out BU has only has 3 national titles, not 5."

typical BC dolt. :D
Jack Kelly's non-existence happened so quickly...

Whatever you say Doctor, I guess Mookie is mad at me now. Enjoy the rest of the season.

not mad... you were just hearing things that weren't there. the 'leak' was how word broke yesterday with buccigross' tweet that he was leaving. he was saying that he was planning on telling the team today, before the press conf - but had to move that up to yesterday since word was getting out... more a joke than anything else.
and i didn't hear any slight directed toward yale. he spoke very highly of the place and of the then AD with whom he was going to interview with.

following on your posts yesterday you came in with a view against parker's decision and carried that forward today in your review of what you saw. i feel you missed what was going on here.

Have you watched this guy's mini-segments between periods on the Bruins games? Seriously we need a male bimbo to sit around during the hockey game reading twitter and picking out the funny/significant (though completely dumb and insignificant) tweets to read back to the Bruins fans on freaking NESN? If this sort of thing is something we can expect in the future then consider me scared for the future.

Honestly, I've barely paid attention to him so far. He is kind of Ryan Seacrest-like.

I'd rather watch dan duquette jr. than the bachelor which is what I'm being subjected to

I didn't have a view against his decision I just thought it was an odd time to retire, I have taken his explanation at face value and wished him well here. As far as the Yale mention, he stated that if he and Tim Taylor swapped jobs, Tim Taylor would have had more wins than him because BC supported the hockey program better than Yale did. Is it a fact, who knows, and also a little backhanded compliment to Coach Taylor, with a backhand also directed at Yale's program support. His other story about turning around on his way to the interview was complimentary of Carm Cozza and not a problem to me. Good luck the rest of the way.

thanks.
but what he said was if they switched.. - tim would have had more wins at bu than he did, and tim had more wins at yale than he would have... entirely self-deprecating statement. in no way backhanded anything.

take care.

Re: Jack Parker To Announce Retirement Monday, Really.

Parker's overall point was that BU made him, he didn't make BU. and that it's easier to win at bu than it is yale.

Can't believe I just defended him...

Self-depircating humor from Jack Parker? That's unpossible!
