Norwich wins 8-0 over Wesleyan! Klinger's 5th shut out, amazing, especially when Wick took so many penalties. Not good and I am sure McShane isn't very happy with that and there were at least two 5 on 3's. I am happy with the win, but concerned about the penalties. Anybody at the game concerned too? Were the calls legit? I saw a few that were definitely useless penalties. George Commo just commented that Klinger only had to stop 15 shots because his defense works so well, but the stops he made were great and he is playing his top game again and again. Nice job Ryan.

A shutout is a shutout but it was hard to tell if Klinger was on top of his game. He was'nt really challenged.

Hamline with a ppg to make it 6-2 with 15:12 left in the third

I suspect that if McShane is "not happy with the penalties"--he will let it pass and compliment those kids for an 8 to Zip shutout. Every contest regardless of the outcome doesn't always have to be an object lesson. Be realistic sometimes "stuff" just happens even against a weaker club. And so long as it didn't cost them the victory, you can't dwell on it. Mention it maybe but move on and get prepared for the next game. Were cool  Next up Trinity.

Now if you do want to listen to a post game locker room speech--one that may not be biblical or inspirational--one might want to be a fly on the wall in Middlebury locker room about now to listen to Beaney give someone an earful. :o

Did someone say five unanswered goals by NEC in the third period?
