Its Friday! (Jan 22) Post those scores! (and other things)

Re: Its Friday! (Jan 22) Post those scores! (and other things)

George Commo mentioned on the Norwich post game radio show, that Klinger's 5 shut outs must be some kind of record. I went to the Norwich site and since 1999-2000 the most shut outs recorded was by Kevin Schieve with 4 in the 01-02 season. Does any one know where to find records for all of Div III pertaining to a record # of shut outs by a goalie? I went to collegestats.com but couldn't find anything, or maybe I wasn't looking in the right place. There must be a place containing info on this. I remember looking up Kurtis McLean's records a few years back, but can't remember where I went to. Maybe the ECAC site? Anyone, a little HELP please.

The NCAA Division III record for shutouts in a season is 10. The career mark is 25. Both are held by Kyle "Reply All" Jones of St. Norbert.

Thanks SNC SID, I should have known Kyle Jones would have at least 5 during a season. Where did you find the info, or do you just recall it because Kyle played for SNC? What is he doing now, I know he played pro hockey for awhile after winning the NCAA's two years ago.

Those are nice round numbers I'll not soon forget. He's playing for the Quad Cities Mallards in the IHL.

If you Google "NCAA men's ice hockey records" you should be able to get a PDF of the online record book. Those are all online at the NCAA Web site.

Thanks again, good night.

Wow, what's happening to Middlebury?

Curious. Starting goalie appears to have played decent, was replaced, NEC scored ac ouple,t he starter went back in ut didn't stop much. 5 goals on 10 shots? Were goalie injuries involved?

Dare I say it....

Oswego has no class :p

Haha. The score might say that, but the goals would beg to differ... especially the one that went through the goalie's legs after being shot from the red line.
