Iran So Far Away: 2026

You know, if Dump choked on Bibi's ball gag tonight, Vance could opt back into the JCPOA tomorrow morning and negotiate withdrawal of all ships in exchange for the end of the tolls. The Iranian-flagged vessels could lead everyone out of the Strait, as presumably they know where the mines are. Then the US, Iran, and the GCC could submit their cases to the UN to resolve the cost of rebuilding (don't call it a reparation...).

I can end this war in 5 minutes of hypoxia.

So...we still have a ceasefire AND are resuming our own blockade? Huh?

Seriously, the timeline broke when the Cubs won the 2016 World Series just before the election and someone has to be our Steve Bartman and go back in time to stop them.

The Omni still has a red light.

Brent back near $100 on the futures market but the spot price (actual price paid cash on the barrel head for the date) during the blockade(s) are starting to come in. The spot price for Brent crude on 4/7/26, 2 weeks ago, was $138.21, the highest observed since $140.67 on 7/4/08.

IINM, 4/7/26 was in fact the second-highest spot price for Brent crude ever.

That will make Tacos buddy Putin happy And will help make Ukraine obsolete.

This will speed up the timetable to get the price of gas back to the child rapist war criminal's stated goal of $3/gallon. And will help the skies return to how they looked in the 19th Century!

Just in time for the World Cup. That's sure to be a boon to US tourism.
