Iran So Far Away: 2026

With how incompetent this administration is, I would have to think that groups in Iran who do terrorist things have to be seeing a window of opportunity here.

Really makes you think about concerts, sporting events, and other popular things over the Summer.

Might not be this summer, either. Iran has a track record of really biding their time with this stuff. Could be decades.

I'm still waiting for the "I did this" stickers on all of the gas pumps... They were were everywhere in 2022. Just paid $3.09 for 88 octane. Paid $2.14 for the same shit a month ago. That's only 45% more. A small price to pay to protect me from the horde of Iranian terrorists that were sure to invade Northeast Ohio any day now.

Found this online. We are so back!

It sure would be nice if our media provided context for all of this.

Balfour declaration
1947 CIA created (many Wall Street lawyer vets of OSS)
1948 Israel
1949 Mossad
1951 Mohammed Mossadegh elected president of Iran, reviews contracts, sees BP and Aramco have set-up 90/10 splits with Iran on the losing end. Mossadegh tells BP and Aramco to renegotiate. They say pound sand. Mossadegh says “yeah?” And nationalizes the oil fields/infrastructure and boots out the U.S./UK folks.
BP and Aramco say “oh yeah?” Ring ring, ring ring, “Hey Allen? We have a problem” that would be Allen Dulles, former Wall Street lawyer who represented John Davis Rockefeller, JD Jr, Standard Oil, John Piermont Morgan (until his death in 1917) JP Jr, Morgan trust. Dulles and MI6 get into “the game”. They coup Mohammed Mossadegh in 1953 (operation Ajax) and then install the Wall Street friendly Reza Pahlavi (the shah) who ushers in a wave of secret police brutality, but hey, it’s good for Wall Street.
After years of that oppression the Iranians overthrow the shah and enter the mullahs.

No matter the outcome this entire tragedy is the fault of the U.S. government.

And btw…not so fun fact I suppose. Two of the CIA officers who ran operation Ajax?

Kermit Roosevelt (Teddy’s grandson) and Miles Copeland (Stewart Copeland’s (drummer for The Police) father)…

But all we hear about is 1979 and “death to America” never any context provided…

Yep. Allen Dulles also represented United Fruit when he was at Sullivan and Cromwell.

Fun fact, one Ernesto “Che” Guevara was riding his motorcycle through central and South America in 1954 and he was actually in Guatemala when the Dulles/Phillips coup was in process and succeeded.

And we wonder why Che hated our government.

All the very public leaks about CIA-funded Kurdish insurgents suggest:

(1) the CIA tried to recruit the Kurds
(2) the Kurds told them, "you always betray us, no," so
(3) we are now deliberately leaking as if there is a deal to goad the Iranian leaders into massacring the Kurds
(4) to provoke the very civil war we were trying to astroturf

That is how the game is played.

When the only goal is to serve the ultra-right Israeli government then this is what you get.

The Saudis also want the Iranians dead, and the Saudis have literally bribed Dump, like they did Cheney before.

My solution is a Concert of the ME and a Draconian enforcement of balance of power: Turkey vs Saudi & GCC vs Israel vs Iran. Set it up and then pull every American human being out of the region. Arm everybody against everybody else, for the next century. Don't let anybody get too powerful. Play Metternich. Make a shit ton of money and use the petro dollars to live up to our necks in hock.

I saw some comment about China and oil. Seems most of their oil came from Iran and Venezuela. Saudis want the action which when you see how much Taco businesses are involved in Saudi deals it makes sense. Added bonus when oil hits all time highs for Puttie.
