Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

WIT seems to have a pretty strong class coming in this year. Rumor around here is that they are getting a solid transfer as well :)

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

The coaches at WIT have done a tremendous job at building up a solid program. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a transfer or to coming in. As a fan who spends a lost of time in the rinks you can easily find a WIT coach in the stands. For a college that does not provide aid to it's players like other schools, they have done great work. Hats off to those guys.

No one provides aid to players any more than they do to any other students. Those that do are sanctioned, as we see in the case of UNE. If players don't get aid, neither do other students - is that what you are saying?

These haven't been posted anywhere else yet. First year Junior A program last year that played mix schedule of EJ,AJ and prep teams. Some of these kids were D1 prospects in prep school and will have direct impact next year at their schools next year.

They're probably all good kids, but if they were D-I prospects, how did they end up at lower tier D-III schools?

Because Clarkson changed they way they recruit. Sorry Joe, couldn't resist that one. :D

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

The kid going to Plymouth is the real deal. That program is really on its way up. Very nice rink.

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

as/collegecommitments......Platty picks up ANOTHER...Mike Radisa from Trenton in the OJHL...6.1" 175lbs age 21 47 gp 13g 19a 41pim...How many does that make??????

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Platty has a total of 9 so far 7 forwards and 2 defensemen, they lost 6 forwards and 2 defensemen from last years team. From the bio for the past 2 years this Mike Radisa is a Emery type of player very coachable 2 way player.

Heard some good things about Radisa. Platty got a good one I think with him.

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

I suppose with the former Clarkson poacher now at Nazareth College, Norwich & Oswego are hoping Julian Assange doesn't target them :p
Clarkson only poached 1 from Norwich. That is not a trend. Now if you want to talk about the number of Techers that headed to Oswego.....
